Lake Ecology has been primarily handled by Board Member Jeff Keith. Jeff has done a wonderful job for many years and I feel there is no one better who is sync with the ecology and condition of our lake. Lake ecology is in charge of weed control which is surveyed many times from spring to fall by our hired lake management company, Allied Biological. The lake ecology committee participates in a voluntary lake monitoring program with the NJDEP and throughout the year members survey the lake to monitor its condition. We also are the pilot community for the Township’s recently adopted septic management program. This committee meets on an as needed basis.
